Tulsa's Irish Community

In building this festival, we have uncovered a thriving, passionate, and fun Irish community right here in Tulsa! Tulsa is billowing with ways in which to celebrate and participate in Irish culture and heritage. Did you know that we have a world renowned James Joyce collection at Tulsa University, an altruistic Celtic group that supports Veterans, and a growing Irish-American Club of Tulsa? Did you know that the Irish make up the second largest ethic group in Oklahoma, or that the Choctaws demonstrated a remarkable act of kindness toward the Irish during the famine?

On Saturday, September 21st at 7:00 PM CT, Conor Mallon will be performing live at Soma, the rooftop restaurant of Hotel Brut. We expect him to play until around 10PM to include two sets.

This event will take place on the open-air rooftop and is free, open to the public, and family-friendly. However, if you plan to enjoy dinner during the performance, we recommend making a reservation as Soma often fills up on Saturday evenings. You can easily reserve a table online.

No RSVP nor reservation is required if you'd like to attend just for the performance and order drinks from the bar. Their full drink menu will be available, so whether you're in the mood for a pint of Guinness, a dram of Jameson, or something a little lighter, such as an Irish Mule (a specialty cocktail created by the Brut team just for this evening), you’ll have plenty of options!
