Born on St. Patrick’s Day, 2018, Tulsa IrishFest was created to provide a family-friendly, culturally authentic way to celebrate Celtic heritage in the arts, music, and culture. Held at the Guthrie Green in downtown Tulsa, the very first Festival had over 8,000 people in attendance, and grew to a two-day, 12,000-person event in 2019. The third year of Tulsa IrishFest happened right as the world was dealing with the outbreak of Covid-19, and thus was one of the last public festivals in the world for an extended period of time.
After much thought, conversation, and planning, and with the enthusiastic support of a broad cross-section of the community, Tulsa IrishFest returned for its fourth Festival on March 8-10, 2024. All of the bands who performed in the 2020 Festival returned for our grand reopening! We added several new bands, with talent from Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia, the United States and, France. And for the first time ever, we are creating an “Artist In Residence” program to add to the Festival’s offerings throughout the year.
Tulsa IrishFest strives to be the best Irish Festival in the world, with top performers, authentic vendors and food, entertaining and captivating activities for children in our ”Kid’s Zone” and a truly immersive experience for the whole family at DreamKeepers Park in Tulsa's South Boston district. We look forward to having you join us as we make “Tulsa IrishFest” a place where every moment is a memory in the making.
Tulsa IrishFest is a 501(C)(3) non-profit.
